The Massachusetts Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (MASPAN) invites submission of completed research, evidence-based practice, quality improvement or successful practice posters relevant to PeriAnesthesia nursing for the in-person, fall educational program, to be held Saturday September 21st, 2024, at Waltham Woods.

The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to Monday July 15th, 2024.  The abstract must be one typed page and include: Title, Intro or Background, Purpose, Problem, Aim, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion or Relevance to Practice. Be sure to include the name of the presenter(s), professional credentials, contact information and a pdf of the poster. Please refer to the ASPAN 2024 Clinical Inquiry CALL FOR ABSTRACTS on the ASPAN website for guidance.

Posters must be free standing for a display on a table or easel (you provide). Designated time during the conference is scheduled and poster authors are expected to be available for participant questions.

Three poster authors will be chosen by the MASPAN Director of Research and Director of Education to present their project at the “Celebrating Successful Practices” session in the afternoon. Presentation time will be 10 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for questions. The three authors chosen to speak will be notified in early August.

Abstract submission deadline is July 1, 2024. Email the abstract to Christine Bell at christinefbell@gmail.com. Poster pdf is due August 15th, 2024. Designate MASPAN 2024 CALL FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION in the subject line of the email. Only completed work and abstracts will be reviewed.
